Although the majority of Fire Hydrants are located within the public sector and maintained by the fire brigade and local water companies, at First Intervention we work very closely with the industrial sector where fire hydrants are located within privately owned land. It is the responsibility of a business to ensure these hydrants are maintained on an annual basis.
First Intervention run an annual inspection programme to ensure that all client hydrants are maintained, in a good state of repair, identified correctly and ready for use.
